Consolidated Analysis Department

Consolidated Analysis Department (hereinafter - SAD) is a subdivision of the NP JSC "Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K.I. Satpayev "(hereinafter - KazNRTU or the University) and is regulated by and subordinate to the vice-rector for academic affairs.

 

SAD cooperates with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in Academic and Research affairs, providing the informational support to the academic accreditation for departments and training programs and centers. SAD coordinates the work of institutions, departments and other units in terms of vocational training, the process of passing educational, industrial, undergraduate, pedagogical internships by students, deals with the issues of support graduate departments in the matters of employment and career.

SAD is headed by the director appointed and dismissed by the order of the Rector on the proposal of the vice-rector for academic affairs.

The director coordinates the SAD’s staff functions and one is responsible for compliance with the Regulations. The director of SAD carries out its activities in accordance with the quality policy of the NP JSC "Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K.I. Satpayev."

 

Organizational unit structure

1 SAD consists of the following departments: internship and career development, vocational trainings, science and postgraduate programs.

2 Staff members of SAD consists of: the Director, the Deputy Director, the Head of theInternship and Career Development Department, the head ofthe Vocational trainingDepartment, the Head of the Science andPost-graduate Education Department, senior managers, and managers.

3 Composition and quantity of SAD are defined by the organizational structure and personnel arrangements of the University approved by the decision of the Board of the NP JSC "Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K.I. Satpayev."

4 The authority of structural subdivisions of SAD is defined by the objectives and challenges that the Department is faced with, by the provisions of subdivisions that are under the guidance of SAD, by the roles and responsibilities that are prescribed in the position responsibility write-ups.

 

Aim and main objectives of SAD:

1 The aim of SAD– is the University’s informational support, tracing and analysis of statistical information; all of the above-mentioned functions are within the competence of the Consolidated Analytical Department.

2 The main objectives – are the organization of effective interaction of structural subdivisions of the University with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and other agencies; and improvement of the multilevel quality control of educational programs at the University, as well as the learning processes.

 

The main functions of SAD are:

1 Informational support of institutions and departments in obtaining academic accreditation of the educational programs;

2 Control of monitoring and analysis of the scientific activities of KazNRTU: fulfillment of current (thematic) and long-term plans of the academic research work by all divisions of KazNRTU;

3 Planning and organization of the Educational and Methodical Board of the University;

4 Control and coordination of the university-wide academic committees and commissions, in particular, the Academic Planning Committee (APC), the University Quality Control Committee (UQCC);

5 Interaction with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and other agencies and organizations on the matters of departments: internship and career development, vocational training, science and postgraduate programs;

6 Coordination of institutes, departments, ensuring the implementation of the State higher and postgraduate education standards; coordination of the departments’ educational programs development, learning kits;

7 Control over the execution of the organization and conduct of training, industrial (technological) and pre-diploma internship;

8 Co-ordination and preparation of reports on the profile Masters’ programs in specialties ‘GPIIR-2’ (ГПИИР-2)for the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

9 Monitoring of the labor market and the signing of several agreements, contracts, memoranda of cooperation, for the completion of all types of internships and employment opportunities for alumni;

10 Updating the internships, employers, companies database - is to meet the labor market demand;

11 Organization and carrying out of thematic guest lectures with the production, master classes, seminars for graduate students.
